FCP and Motion Package Deals…
July 20th, 2010Final Cut Pro and Motion are the two heavyweight applications of the Final Cut Studio and complement each other very well as a training package, so it was great to see a group combine the courses and get Certified in both, over a three week period. Both courses are intensive, but taking them together gets students into the groove of editing and creating stunning Motion effects, and one follows on from the other. So students are then familiar with the Apple Certified Training course format, and how the Certification exam works and how best to prepare for them.
Motion really comes into play when editors are looking to push the creative envelope in their productions, and enable editors to go beyond the Final Cut templates that are included with the software, and give them greater creative reign with motion effects and 3D fly-throughs.
